Building Regenerative Natural Abundance
Do you have space you wish was growing you food or creating additional habitat for nature, or both? Have you wanted to become more food independent and resilient? If you are trying to add practical value, beauty and abundance to your homestead, farm or workplace, you’ve come to the right place. We are increasing the value, beauty, biodiversity, and abundance of yards, porches, and balconies across the Olympic Peninsula and beyond, one project at a time.
We create beautiful, high-quality hand-crafted carpentry products for outdoor settings, as well as providing environmental education leaning toward regenerative gardening and ecosystem restoration. Our goal is education and inspiration, but to further this aim and pay the rent, we also sell great products to help people increase the biodiversity and resilience of their outdoor spaces.
Our Core Values
- Sustainability: Commitment to using regenerative and eco-friendly materials.
- Quality: Ensuring high standards in craftsmanship and durability.
- Community: Engaging with and supporting the local community and environment.
- Education: Promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
About the Founder
Hello, my name is Brendan. For the better part of my life, I have been deeply engaged with gardening, nature, and the intricate world of outdoor building crafts. My journey took a professional turn when I pursued formal education at a green building work trades school. Today, I proudly hold the title of a certified green builder. In addition, I have refined my skills further with a certificate in fine woodworking. In my professional life I have worked alongside international ecologists and regenerative farmers in the defense of a robust biosphere and the designing of a new abundant paradigm (for humans and the planet).
I’ve always been deeply passionate about animals, the environment, and sustainable living. I look to harness natural energies like the sun, and integrate solid principles from physics, ecology, and economics, in my builds. My own small farm is an ongoing experiment with innovation in renewable building and regenerative agriculture. The goal is ultimately to transform what others see as ‘waste’ into a meaningful foundation for new creations.
Located amidst the beauty and biodiversity of the Olympic Peninsula, I find inspiration in nature and seek to surround myself with abundance. I would hope to help manifest this for you and your land, family, or organization. This is reflected in my choice of materials; untreated sustainably-managed cedar, known for its resilience and rustic yet colorful finish, is a staple in my creations – and I seek to reduce waste, recycle and upcycle materials wherever possible.
In entrusting your project to me or ordering a product from my catalog, you’re choosing more than just a carpenter; you’re selecting a visionary craftsman who believes in the symphony of sustainability, aesthetics, and functionality. Together, let’s craft spaces that don’t just stand, but tell stories, foster dreams, and harmonize with the world around us.
